The Erasmus+ target population is mainly made up of people active in the fields of education, training and youth (students, trainees, apprentices, students, adult learners, young people, volunteers, university or other level teachers, trainers, workers in the field of youth and professionals of organizations). The Program reaches these people through the organizations, institutions, agencies and groups that organize such activities.

The presentation and management of Erasmus + projects are carried out by the education and training organizations or institutions that represent the participants. When a project is selected, the organization or institutions of education and training that have submitted the application becomes the beneficiary of an Erasmus+ grant. Beneficiary organizations or institutions sign a grant agreement that entitles them to receive financial support for the realization of their project (grant agreements are not offered to individual participants).
